Pro-Life

As a pro-life OB-GYN, I am committed to defending the sanctity and inherent dignity of human life. While I believe that good people can disagree on this matter, I cannot compromise my commitment to support life at every stage, from conception and birth to old age and death.

My 100% pro-life voting record reflects these principles. I’ve sponsored and co-sponsored many pieces of pro-life legislation, from restricting the production of the abortion pill to supporting equal protection for unborn humans under the 14th Amendment.  I am also proud of my votes to prevent minors from circumventing state laws to get an abortion, and to fund ethical stem cell research that doesn’t sacrifice life for science.

A compassionate society values human life, especially the weakest and most defenseless among us.  I will uphold this standard by passing pro-life legislation and, equally important, opposing legislation that does not respect human life.
