Severe Weather Disaster Relief Information for 11th District

Should you require immediate disaster assistance, please contact my district office at (770) 429-1776 or (706) 290-1776 or contact FEMA’s Georgia office at (770) 220-5200. Residents who have been displaced by severe weather and need a place to stay can contact our emergency dispatch center at (770) 445-2117 for shelter and assistance.

Residents and business owners who sustained losses in the designated counties declared by FEMA to be eligible for assistance can begin applying for assistance by registering online at or by calling 1-800-621-FEMA (3362) or 1-800-462-7585 (TTY) for the hearing and speech impaired. The toll-free telephone numbers will operate from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Sunday. Individual assistance can include grants to help pay for temporary housing, home repairs and other serious disaster-related expenses.  Low-interest loans from the U.S. Small Business Administration also will be available to cover residential and business losses not fully compensated by insurance.
