Congressman Phil Gingrey Supports North-American Made Energy Security Act

Congressman Phil Gingrey (GA-11) today issued the following statement in support of the North-American Made Energy Security Act:

“The United States is facing an energy crisis. With rising unemployment levels and sky-rocketing gas prices, ensuring America’s access to safe and secure energy supplies is critical. The North-American Made Energy Security Act will help to eliminate our Middle East oil imports by providing 1.3 million barrels of oil a day to U.S. markets. In addition, this solution would add more than 100,000 American jobs to help get the unemployed back to work. I encourage my colleagues in the House and Senate to support this bill and request a rapid Presidential Permit decision by President Obama.”
