An "unsustainable" course
Washington, D.C. -
Today marks the 43rd straight month that unemployment has remained above 8 percent. With millions of Americans unemployed, millions more underemployed, and $16 trillion dollars in national debt, we must chart a new course. President Obama's economic policies, which include a massive tax hike on the middle class, are not only unsustainable, they are completely ineffective and a hindrance to growth and job creation.
House Republicans have passed more than 30 jobs bills, which continue to stack up on Senator Reid's desk. I urge President Obama to call on the Senate to take this vital, pro-growh legislation up and truly put Americans back to work. We can do better.
