Washington, D.C. - In light of recent email evidence indicating the White House and State Department were aware within hours that terrorists affiliated with al-Qaeda were claiming responsibility for the Benghazi attack, Americans deserve to know the truth. For weeks, the Obama Administration has shifted blame, pointed fingers, and changed their story. I support my colleague from Georgia, Sen. Saxby Chambliss, in his call for further intel hearings to lay out all of the facts. We need transparency to finally know what happened, and who knew what and when, in the aftermath of the despicable Benghazi attack that left four of our countrymen dead.
